EMEA Payroll Analyst FTC (German, French or Spanish)

This newly created 18 -24 month FTC role will join our Internal Payroll team who are responsible for paying over 3000 of our colleagues in 14 countries globally. You will be involved in SAP related payroll processes working with external payroll providers, to ensure that all of our people get paid accurately and on time.

About this role

You will be part of a fantastic team who all work closely together to ensure that our processes are effective, up to date and internationally compliant.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Process monthly payrolls and check payroll input/output data for complete accuracy
  • Process payments to employees inside the agreed process
  • Take responsibility for lodging statutory reports, tax returns and third-party requests, making payments and reconciling.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Balance payroll journals and supply accounting team with payroll reports as required
  • Provide ad hoc reports as required.
  • Responding to all queries in line with agreed SLA's.
  • Support with internal and external audit preparation

What skills and experience should you have?

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant payroll experience and/or from a HR or Finance background with language skills in German, French or Spanish preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel, (VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) with an excellent standard of formatting
  • A good working knowledge of financial systems (with previous experience of SAP would be advantageous)
  • Excellent attention to detail, willing to question and investigate
  • Comfortable to work under pressure
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Identifying when to escalate issues to Team Leader for resolution / action
  • Continuous improvement mind set, driving process excellence

Qualifications:

  • CIPP Payroll qualification or HR/Finance background would be advantageous
