Samira Alimohammad, Vice-President and General Counsel of Specialist Staffing Group, has been included in SIA’s 2021 Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list. The list is made up of the most influential women in staffing and recognises the top 100 in the Americas and top 50 internationally.

Samira is a 12-year recruiting attorney who oversees Specialist Staffing Group's legal and compliance division. She’s responsible for protecting assets across our six brands and has helped leaders mitigate exposure.

She has also reconstructed our contracts department, significantly reducing exposure to contractual risk while building out the compliance department and putting in place policies adherent to federal, state and city laws.

Outside of Specialist Staffing Group, Samira is an active member of the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) Legal and Legislative Committee and mentors through the ASA mentorship program. And this isn’t her first accolade. A strong believer in DE&I and supporting other women, Samira also made the National Association Women Lawyers’ Rising List 2021.

Samira Alimohammad, Vice-President and General Counsel of Specialist Staffing Group, said:

“I am honored and humbled to be named as one of this year’s SIA Global 150 Women in Staffing. While making this list of incredible women has been a dream of mine personally, it also underpins the importance of legal, risk, and compliance – and all of the other supporting functions – within the staffing industry.

“I hope this recognition is embraced by all members of our core functions and allows them to see the impact they make on the greater business.”
