Your scope
As a Junior Marketing Specialist at SThree, you will have exciting times ahead. You will explore the world of marketing in all its facets; online, offline, campaigns, content, events, B2B, B2C, and merchandise.
Your main responsibilities consist of increasing our brand visibility and awareness of our go-to-market brands for both of our target audiences, candidates and clients. You will run your own projects and campaigns for our brands in Japan: Computer Futures, Progressive, Huxley, Real, Global Enterprise Partners and SThree. In addition to your own projects, you will also support on marketing projects and events. A dynamic role in which you effortlessly switch between various online and offline marketing activities:
- Content creation: from interviews to blog posts, and from reels for social media to email marketing - you create content that engages people.
- Content calendar: you manage the content calendar for our local brands and ensure it is timely posted on our social channels and websites.
- Social media management: you know what's happening on our socials, post engaging content, and ensure interaction with our followers. Our existing social channels are LinkedIn, Instagram and X.
- Website optimisation: websites are our "face" on the internet. You'll work on continuous improvements to optimise the customer journey of our candidates and clients while implementing the best SEO practices.
- Events and projects: from vibrant ambassador events to participating in congresses- you help plan and execute unforgettable experiences.
- Data analysis: on a monthly basis you analyse the performance of your content and events. Measuring is knowing, and based on data, you optimise your work.
- Collaboration: close collaboration with stakeholders to coordinate marketing projects and activities.
Your role requires close collaboration with colleagues at all levels from the Japan office, ranging from fresh graduates to senior directors. You'll also be a key player in our larger marketing team and connect with colleagues across the globe, from whom you will learn a lot about all aspects of marketing.
You will also spend time tracking trends and developments within the markets and target groups for our brands ( Computer Futures, Progressive, Huxley, Real and Global Enterprise Partners). Knowledge is key. By reading, researching, talking, and listening, you will ensure you know what's top of mind for our clients and candidates.
Your team
You will be part of the regional team that supports our business and brands in the Netherlands, Spain, the Middle East (MENA), and Asia Pacific (APAC). The Japan team comes together in our office every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You will be encouraged to be in the office environment as much as possible to understand our business, culture, and people. You'll report directly to our Head of Marketing for APAC and MENA, based in Japan, and work closely with your colleagues in the region and your global peers.

- Strong communicator: you excel in both Japanese and English and you know how to adapt your communications to the receiver (candidate or client). Good presentation skills are a huge plus.
- Excellent writer: you have strong writing capabilities in both Japanese and English with a research interest.
- Tech savvy: you are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and you can seamlessly adopt and master digital tools and platforms like Canva, Monday.com and other relevant AI tools to enhance your productivity.
